1. Can this equipment respond instantly to process changes during coagulation treatment? If so, how long does it take to respond? For example, if turbidity readings are high/low, can the unit automatically adjust the injection of coagulant/flocculant metering pumps?

Answer: Our response time is 1 second, enabling real-time reaction. The equipment can automatically control the dosing pump via PID to add flocculant. Typically, we adjust the optimal flocculant dosage based on seasonal variations, which is usually fixed. During sudden events like the rainy season causing elevated turbidity, manual intervention is required to promptly control chemical dosing (theoretically possible in real-time, though not yet implemented in practice).

2. Can this device be configured as an automatic flow-monitoring dosing system for coagulants/flocculants? If so, how is the dosage set?

Answer: No. The SCD serves only as a reference unit to assist with on-site chemical cost management.

3. Can this device guarantee reliable coagulation?

Answer: Reliability cannot be guaranteed due to variations in on-site processes. Optimal values must be precisely determined through jar tests. (Optimal flocculation state)

4. Where is the best location to install this system? In the clarification tank or after the water contacts the coagulant/flocculant?

Answer: The sampling point should be as far as possible from the dosing point to allow sufficient mixing time for optimal blending of the flocculant with the raw water. Generally, the distance between the sampling point and the dosing point should be no less than 10 times the pipe diameter, or the time from flocculant addition to the sampling point should typically be 3-5 minutes.

5. How can this device communicate with the coagulant/flocculant metering pump and the online turbidity meter? Is this device IoT-capable?

Answer: The 10SC controls automatic dosing via PID (4-20mA) and features built-in RS485. It transmits all data in real-time to the central control room and can connect to cloud platforms.

6. Can this instrument read values from -1999 to +1999mV? Your catalog only lists a range of -1000 to +1000mV.

Answer: It cannot measure values from -1999 to +1999 mV.

7. Can this device function as a monitor to control the entire process?

Answer: This device is a detection instrument. Beyond its built-in PID automatic chemical dosing control, it cannot control other equipment. However, it can transmit data to the central control room, which can then control other devices.
